The Parenting Place is proud to offer Child Care Coffee Chats with funding through The La Crosse Community Foundation. This class is available exclusively to City of La Crosse residents who are interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education. By attending five weekly sessions, participants will walk away from this course equipped with some of the skills necessary to actively support young children through their developmental milestones. Attendees can expect hands-on learning experiences, to gain insight from local professionals, AND free coffee. Participants will receive training in CPR, AED, AHT, and SIDS at no cost to them and learn what their next steps are towards building a career in child care.
