The Parenting Place is proud to offer Child Care Explorers funded by The City of La Crosse through The La Crosse Community Foundation. This class is available exclusively to students attending high school in the city of La Crosse who are interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education. With four total sessions, participants will walk away from this course equipped with a set of skills designed to actively support young children through their developmental milestones. Child Care Explorers can expect hands on learning experiences and sessions featuring local professionals. Students will learn about child care safety and become certified in CPR with AED, AHT, and SIDS Prevention at no cost to them. Lunches will be provided.
