Within hours of my first day of work at The Parenting Place in 1998, I recognized a personal connection to the mission and a found professional home. As Executive Director since 2002, I work with board members to build a strong organization, collaborate with staff to offer relevant and quality programming, and invite the community to join us in building strong success systems for families and child care providers. Every day, I’m energized by the deep belief that investing in young children by supporting, empowering, and educating the adults in their lives is the path to a strong, healthy future for all of us.
